Outdoor Learning

As part of our topic, Primary 4 have been learning about the wingspan of birds. We wondered what our 'wingspan' would be so measured one another to find out! We then recorded these measurements to be displayed outside our class.

Miss Fraser then gave us the wingspan of many different birds in metres. Primary 4 had to use their knowledge of length to convert these into centimetres. We then went outside and drew these wingspans on the playground using chalk! We even drew our own 'wingspan'! Thank goodness it stayed dry for us!
