Guess who?

Image
This afternoon Primary 4 were busy learning about adjectives. We took part in a secret mission where we had to describe a child in the class without saying who it was. After, we swapped with a partner and drew a picture based on the provided description. Once we had all finished, we played a game of guess who! What a fabulous afternoon!

Big Maths

This afternoon primary 4 were revising o'clock times. We looked over how to make o'clock times in analogue and digital format. We had great fun applying our knowledge in a range of carousel activities! O'clock bingo with Mrs Metclaffe was a hit!

We got our violins!

Today Primary 4 were revising the different parts of the violin. Miss McIntyre gave us a fabulous song to remember these parts which is sung to the tune of head, shoulders, knees and toes! Scroll, body, strings and bridge! Strings and bridge! Scroll, body, strings and bridge! And the neck and the chin rest and the finger board! Scroll, body, strings and bridge! Today was also very exciting as we got to see our violins and take them out of the case!

Macmillan Coffee Morning

A HUGE thank you to Primary 4 and 4/5 who hosted our annual Macmillan Coffee Morning! The day was a massive success and the kids were a credit to our school! Thanks to their hard work we managed to beat last year's total, raising a whopping £1,225! Well done!
