Miss Fraser and Primary 4

As part of our topic, Primary 4 have been learning about the wingspan of birds. We wondered what our 'wingspan' would be so measured one another to find out! We then recorded these measurements to be displayed outside our class. Miss Fraser then gave us the wingspan of many different birds in metres. Primary 4 had to use their knowledge of length to convert these into centimetres. We then went outside and drew these wingspans on the playground using chalk! We even drew our own 'wingspan'! Thank goodness it stayed dry for us!

Huge congratulations to some of the children in Primary 4 who have reached 200 Dojo points! Thomas was the first to reach 200 and was followed closely behind by many others!

We have been working hard this week with a partner, researching either a British bird or a bird of prey. We set our own criteria and found out some interesting facts about our birds. Once we had collected our facts, we created our own poster and shared these with the rest of the class! Lots of learning took place!

Kawa was slected as our first PATHS kids of term 2! Have a look at the lovely compliments he received!
